So.. I decided to start writing again. I’m not sure what all will be put here on my blog, but we’ll see! I just felt like writing right now. I’m currently working on homework and am having a really hard time focusing on it. I’m trying to summarize a scholarly microbiology paper. It’s just too much over my head!
It’s week 2 of this new semester of school. I finally got into the nursing program! This semester is kind of a dead semester though.  We don’t get to start any of the fun hands on stuff until next semester. This semester we just learn how assess a patient/client’s basic health, but only get to do the assessments on eachother. Next semester we will go into nursing homes and use our skills there. This semseter I am also taking intro to microbiology-hence the paper I’m trying to summarize, pathophysiology, first 1/2 D&C, and I’m also the TA for a food prep lab. Overall, these classes keep me busy.
I am also working 18 hours a week at UVRMC as a nurse assistant on a Med/Surg floor. It’s lots of fun. I really enjoy working. It’s great work experience for nursing!
