On Thursday, we had our latest start of the Jordan trip: we didn’t leave till 745. We first went to the ruins of ancient Amman. There were ruins from many different ages. There was a ummayad mosque and a temple for Hercules. There was also a small museum that had many different things, including several small scraps of parchment found with the Dead Sea Scrolls.
After touring the museum we had fun playing on the ruins and taking pictures.

After touring ancient Amman, we headed to the Jordan River. We visited the traditional site of Jesus’ baptism and took lots of pictures.

After the river we headed to the border, and got back to the center at 330. It was great to return home so early. We had all afternoon to get caught back up and then we played in the evening. It was like having an actual weekend. Today we didn’t have anything planned. We’ve had the whole day to chill and do whatever. I’m about to head to play frisbee! I hope all is well for everyone!
